Running In The Halls At The British Museum - An Event Overview
This article was drafted by Norman Busigu.
Running In The Halls (R.I.T.H) was a historic British Museum Late curated by My Runway Group - it being the first of its kind inside one of the world’s most iconic institutions. The event marked a celebration of contemporary African and Diasporic creativity. On April 17th 2026, the museum’s halls transformed into dynamic spaces of sound, movement, performance and cultural expression. Thank you to My Runway Group for inviting Postcards From The Diaspora as official Press to this incredible multi-dimensional event.
My Runway Group’s COO, Kofi Turkson, commented: “This initiative is about welcoming a new generation into the British Museum, not just as visitors, but as contributors to culture”.
